The Center for American Progress is hosting its first ever CAP Services Fest on October 16th in downtown Washington, DC. CAP Services Fest is a one-day collaborative event to ideate around the future of government delivery. The day will bring together Congressional caseworkers, civic technologists, policy experts, and passionate advocates.
Throughout Services Fest, participants will cast a wide net: get creative, hear from people and their experiences, and generate bold ideas for new services at all levels of government. From there, we can explore what the federal government can adopt, what needs to be built from scratch, and what is no longer serving people.
Services Fest will be divided into 3 parts - user immersion, ideation, and demos. Yes, we’ll have pitches and demos to close out Services Fest, so be prepared to come with your best ideas and ready to demo!
